Test results!!!

Today we got the results to Cameron's bone age study and blood work. His bone age is behind which is not that bad it just means that he will be smaller to start with and would most likely catch up later. The blood work came back with normal levels for everything except it was low on IGF-I which is a growth hormone. He has to go and see an Endocrinologist now for further tests. I am not quite sure what to think since I really do not know what an endocrinologist actually does. So we will have to wait and see. Cameron has an appointment on June 9th. I will keep all of you updated on what they say!!!

Doctors Appointments

Cameron had his 4 year well check yesterday. He weighs 28.8 lbs (1 percentile) and is 38 inches tall (7th percentile). The doctors have some concerns about his growing, so sometime in the next week I have to take him in to have his wrists x-rayed to look at his growth plates and then they want me to take him to do full blood work to see all of his levels. I am a little nervous and hope that everything comes out okay and that there are no major concerns.

On a side note. I had a doctors appointment yesterday and we set the induction date for July 13th (6 days early). That means I only have about 7 1/2 weeks or so left. So if I don't go into labor or have the baby before that day, that's when he will come. I am so excited and can't wait to meet our sweet little guy. I can't believe how fast it has all seemed to go by. The boys are getting more and more excited. We still do not have a name for this little guy but will have one eventually, I think we are going to wait until we meet him.

4 years old!!

Today is Cameron's 4th birthday and I can hardly believe it. The past 4 years have flown by. We have loved having Cameron as part of our family, he has been such a joy and a blessing in our lives. He is such a sweet and tenderhearted little boy who thinks of others before himself. He is such a great big brother to Luke and is always willing to help him out or make him happier, of course they have their moments but for the most part he is helpful with Luke. He is very loving and always tells me he loves me and gives me hugs and kisses. He is into anything super hero now and pretends to be one. He has such a creative imagination and comes up with all sorts of adventures. He wants to be an astronaut when he grows up and tells me almost everyday that he wants to go into space. He is so much fun to be around. I am one lucky mom to have such a sweet little guy. Happy Birthday Cameron...I love you so much!!!!

Party Time!!!

Yesterday we had a birthday party for Cameron. We had originally planned on having it at the park but since it decided to rain all day long we had to move it to our house. We had so much fun and enjoyed spending time with all our friends. Cameron has been talking about a birthday party since we moved here and insisted it be a soccer party, so that's what we did. Here are some pics of our fun!!!

He initially wanted a soccer ball cake but luckily he saw these little soccer players and wanted them on his cake instead. The soccer ball cake would have taken me hours to make.

Cameron was beamming as everyone sang Happy Birthday and after the song he yelled out Thank you, before he blew out his candles...such a polite little guy!!

Opening his presents, he was nice enough to let Luke help and they both opened all the presents together.

Our indoor version of breaking the pinata. We really didn't have anywhere to hang it, so the kids got a chance to drop it from the top of the stairs to see how many drops it took to break it. The last drop we had all the kids down stairs and dropped it and still had to rip it open. It was a big hit!!!!

Luke enjoying his candy from the pinata!!
Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate with us and thank you for the gifts. We had a great time!!

Mom, We cleaned our room!!!

Yesterday Cameron and Luke came downstairs and said, "Mom, we cleaned our room!" I thought okay, wow that is great, I didn't even have to ask them to. They really wanted me to come up and see it. As I rounded the corner at the top of the stairs this is what I saw.

Yes as you can see it is a mattress with a bunch of blankets and toys on it, in the hallway.
This was what their room looked like.

I must say it was clean but that is not where Cameron's bed is supposed to be. All I could say was Thank you!! How can you get mad at such cute boys for trying to be helpful? They did the same thing again today!!! I guess I need to show them how to really clean their room and not to throw it in the hallway.

Happy Mother's Day!!!

Just wanted to give a shout out to all you mothers, mothers to be and future mothers. I hope you all have had a wonderful day and were able to take some time for yourselves. I had an okay day. I got to sleep in, well sort of with my boys coming in and out of my room. The boys were at each others throats all day and out of control more than normal. I don't know what the deal was, there must be something in the air. The highlight was that Reid got me a table that I can do my scrapbooking on that I have been wanting since we moved here. I am so excited and can't wait to finally get some what caught up. I am also 30 weeks pregnant today and can't believe how fast it is going by. 10 weeks to go!!!

Movie Theatre

Since Reid was helping a friend move and I didn't want to just sit at home, I decided to brave it and take both boys to see the movie Monsters vs. Aliens in 3D. I knew going into it that it might not work and so I didn't have my hopes up very high. I am very happy to say that I was thoroughly impressed, both boys sat through the entire movie and didn't even move. Of course since it was in 3D we had to wear the 3D glasses. The glasses were really big and Luke kept knocking them off but with a little help from me everything worked out. I think it being in 3D helped out a ton especially with all the stuff popping out at you. The movie was really cute and way fun to watch in 3D. We had a blast, and I am so relieved that I didn't have to chase Luke around and try to get him to sit still. Here's a picture of the boys in their 3D glasses.
