Luke's 2 year well check!!

Yesterday I took Luke to his 2 year well check up. He weighs 26 lbs and is 35 inches tall. He is in the 25th percentile so a little small for his age but nothing to be concerned about. He also got two shots but was such a brave boy, so I took him to the mall to ride the carousel, he loves those horses. He had a clean bill of health and the doctor said he looked great and was doing very good talking and answering questions. I still can't believe he is two...time flys.

What we woke up to!!!

Yes it is ice on the roads and everywhere. All the schools were cancelled. We got in our car to head to one of my doctors appointments, the roads were pretty slick so we drove slow and took our time. when we were half way there they called and said the morning appointments were cancelled because of the weather, a little frustrating but oh well, I go later today at 4:20!! Hope the roads clear up by then. Hope you all have a great day, as for us we will be staying inside.

Long Night!!!

Last night was not one to be happy about and it lasted forever. At about 12:30am Cameron woke up crying and saying ouch it hurts, ouch it hurts and just crying as hard as ever. So I waited a few minutes and decided I should probably go check on him. He was crying saying his feet were hurting. I thought that his feet had fallen asleep or something so I rubbed them for a few minutes then kissed him good night and tucked him in. I thought okay that's okay it's just once in the night. Oh no was I wrong, he woke up every hour on the hour, crying out in pain. After a couple of times going up and down my stairs I brought him down but in the process Luke was woken up, so both boys came into our bed for about 30 mins. I got tired of not getting comfortable or having any room and took them back up to there room. About 30 mins after I got back in bed Cameron started crying out again, this time I just let him cry it out to see how long he would go, he stopped after about 10 mins and fell asleep. Another hour later he cried again. By this time it was 4:30am and I had, had it. I got him out of bed and brought him into bed with me, and he stayed there until Luke woke up. I have no idea what the problem was, I think it might be growing pains, but I have no idea. I know you are probably thinking you should have given him Tylenol or something but I didn't have any. He seems fine today and has not complained. I hope tonight will go much better. Wish me luck!!!!

My little cowboys!!!

Cameron and Luke wanted to put their cowboy stuff on today. Not all that surprising but they wanted them on top of their Pj's. I thought they looked really cute. They wanted to take off their hats for the picture.

Lucas is 2!!!!

Today is Luke's Birthday!!! I can't believe he is already 2. It seems like I just had him and now he is getting so big. He is such a funny kid with such a cute personality. He is talking really good now and can tell me what he wants. He is my little momma's boy and loves to be with me or holding me. He loves his big brother Cameron and loves to do everything with him. He is such a joy to have in our lives. Luke has been such a happy boy today, he woke up excited and was singing happy birthday all day. He got a cozy car and loves it. He got so excited and would not get out of it for awhile. He also got some books and a game for his little leaps. Happy Birthday baby!!! We love you and are so happy you are part of our family.

Our little Sunbeam!!!

Can you believe it? Cameron is now a sunbeam. Today was his first Sunday in Primary and he loved it. He kept on asking all morning when it was time to go to Primary and couldn't stand the wait. They had all the sunbeams walk into opening exercises with graduation hats on, they all looked so cute. Cameron was just beaming, I wish I would have had my camera. After church I asked how it was and he said it was fun and that he wanted to go back to Primary. I am so happy that he loved it so much. Reid and I thought that we were going to be his teachers but we have been switched and now teach the CTR 5. I was a little disappointed but I think it will be better that way. Cameron can go to his own class. Here's our little sunbeam!!!

Pure Joy!!!

Since today was such a nice day we decided to do a picnic and take the boys to the park. We started out running a couple of errands, stopped at Sonic to get lunch, and headed to the park. It was 80 degrees which made for a beautiful day and tons of people at the park. I don't think I have seen it so full. Since it was so full we also went to a different park to let them play more. We had such a great time spending time as a family!! Beware tons of pictures!! Now that I have a new camera I am always taking pictures.

I know this one is blurry but I thought it was cute!!!!
