Twilight

So yesterday I went to see Twilight and I loved it!! A couple friends and I went. We got to the theatre at about 4 and were the first in line for our 5:30 showing. I didn't mind the wait, we had fun just visiting and talking. After dinner we went to Mimi's cafe for dinner and visited and talked about the movie and were the last ones to leave the resturant. My overall opinion of the movie was it was great. Although parts of it bothered me but for the most part I really enjoyed it. The book was definitely way better than that movie like most are, but I thought they did a pretty good job at portraying certain parts. I can't wait for the next movie to come out and I totally want to read all of the books again.

Come and Gone!!!

We just got back from taking my mom to the airport to head back home. It was really sad to say goodbye. Cameron started crying big time as we were leaving the airport. He misses her so much..the whole drive home he kept on saying," I want to see Grandma..I want grandma!!! It is so sad but he'll be okay. We had such a great time having her here. In the mornings Cameron would go into her room and lay with her for a little while and was always wanting grandma to help him or be right next to him. He loved having her here. We got to spend time with my uncle Mark and his family on Friday night and had so much fun. Grandma let the boys pick out a toy that they wanted. We also got some Christmas shopping done and a pedicure while they were taking a nap on Saturday. I had so much fun with her. I was thinking I don't think she has ever stayed at our house, we always lived close except for when we were at school. It was nice to finally have her stay with us and see our new house. We are excited to see her again in March.

Cuddling with Grandma!!!!!!!

On Friday my brother David got engaged to Ashley Hansen...we are thrilled and couldn't be more excited for them. She is going to be a great addition to the family!!! Congrats David and Ashley...we love you!!!! They are getting married on March 6.

Cameron and Luke have also been asking all day when Grandma was going to get here. We are all so excited. I get to go pick her up in like an hour...Woo hoo!! I am so glad she has the opportunity to come. I will post about all of our fun after the weekend.

Owens Farm

On Thursday...some friends and the boys and I went to Owens Farm. We got to go on a Hay ride, see the clidesdale horses (not sure how to spell that), and got to feed the goats. The boys had so much fun feeding the goats. I thought Luke would be scared but he loved it. He kept on grabbing food and holding it out. He would laugh everytime the goats would lick his hand. Cameron wanted to stay with the goats longer. We also saw some bulls and some ponies. When we first got there Luke saw the horses and said, "I wanna ride it!" We had a great time!!!!

Full Chart and Power Rangers

Well we made it!! Cameron is finally potty trained. It took awhile but we have jumped the hurdle. He had a potty chart that he got to put stickers on after everytime he went potty. We set the reward, that once he had filled his chart he could get some Power Ranger figures. Those figures had been sitting on top of our fridge for quite sometime. He finally got them on Friday. I cannot even say how proud I am of him. He did really great...only a few tears here and there. I am so glad I don't have to diaper two kids still. Way to go Cameron...we are so proud of you!!!!

Proud little brother!!!

Pumpkin Pie!!

Last Saturday Reid decided he wanted to make a pumpkin pie by sratch. SHOCK!!! So I went and bought all of the spices and things he would need. For the record we did not use pumpkin from the can. We got a pie pumpkin and cooked it and did what needed to be done to get it ready. The pie turned out great, it was the best pumpkin pie I have ever had. Everything always tastes better when you don't have to make it. I helped a little but Reid did most of it and cleaned up after himself. I was very proud of him. Here's some pics during the process.

Halloween!!!

Cameron and Luke were so excited all day to go Trick or Treating. They woke up wanting to get in their costumes. We started out at our citys Trick or Treating at the Square which started at 4. All the little shops gave out candy. It was packed but we had fun. The boys and I went with our friends the Garcia's. We didn't even hit all the stores and their buckets were almost full. I couldn't believe it. Cameron was so excited and would say trick or treat at every person, and would wait for them to put candy in his bucket. Luke on the other hand wanted to put the candy in his own bucket, he would take the candy from the person and then put it in his bucket, he even said Trick or Treat. We went home and got daddy and headed to a Trunk or Treat at our church building where the whole stake was invited. The cars went all around the church and most spots both sides of the road. We loved seeing all our friends dressed up and Cameron and Luke got tons more candy. We have two big baggies full. Way too much that I don't need in my house. After the Trunk or treat we went to Chili's for dinner. Luke had so much candy that he was wired. I don't think I have ever seen him so hyper and crazy. We had such a great time!!!!
